While in Nicaragua for a documentary project I could not resist capturing an essence & flow of the city of Masaya. What an amazing country full of warmth & joy. Of course, there is a deep culture of hurting, poverty & struggle here, but there is a wealth of beauty that is far from my touch in the United States. In Masaya, I climbed up a volcano, & caught a glimpse of the boiling blood from our earth. Watching its vapours, gases, and scent rise to the sky amongst hot rough cliff peaks was unforgettable.
